Background Music Suddenly Louder or Softer?

If your studio background music volume has suddenly increased or decreased, this is not caused by the SPTV workout player. SPTV output volume is fixed and does not change automatically. Sudden changes in music level are typically caused by one of the following:

1. Third-Party Background Music Player

Your background music is delivered via a separate music player (not SPTV).

First, confirm:

• The background music player is powered on
• The device display or indicator lights are active

If powered on, check the volume/output setting on the music player itself.

If you require assistance operating the background music player, please contact the supplier or manufacturer directly. Their details are located in your studio handbook.

2. Amplifier or Mixer Adjustment

Background music volume is controlled by the amplifier channel, which may be labelled:

• BGM (Background Music)
• Music

If this control has been adjusted, music volume will change.

Important:
Do not adjust the SPTV or Workout channel.

No amplifier or mixer controls should be set to maximum. If any controls are fully turned up, reduce them to a normal operating level and test.

If volume levels have been significantly altered and normal balance cannot be restored, onsite adjustment by a technician may be required.

3. Power Interruption

After a power outage, equipment may restart in a different state.

Confirm:
• The background music player is powered on
• The amplifier has powered back on correctly

Note: A simple loss of power does not normally change amplifier knob positions.
