Unable to Manually Load a Workout via the SPTV LCD Controller
Understanding the SPTV LCD Controller
The SPTV LCD controller is a USB device that is attached to the main SPTV player unit. It allows you to control and navigate through the workout programs and options.
Important: The LCD controller should not be disconnected or re-attached while the SPTV player is on. Doing so may cause issues with the controller's functionality.
If the LCD controller is showing only the 'Studio Pilates' logo and not the default menu options, it is likely that the controller has been attached or detached while your SPTV player is on. To fix this issue, you should properly restart your SPTV player.
Troubleshooting Physical Connection Problems
- Ensure the main SPTV player is turned off — press the power button once on the player and wait for it to properly shutdown. Do not hold in the power button. The unit should turn off in under 1 minute.
- Check that the USB cable connecting the LCD controller to the main player unit is securely plugged into the rear USB port of the main SPTV player.
- Check for any visible damage to the USB cable. If you notice any damage, contact customer support for a replacement.
- Make sure the LCD controller is not connected to any other USB devices or ports.
Resolving Software Issues
This would be rare but possibly corruption of the underlying operating system or LCD software has occurred due to sudden power loss. If the player is online our support team can remotely diagnose and fix this — reach out via the support contact and submit a ticket.
